is through our members’ activity in academe, government, business, law,
science, and the arts, that we believe we can provide bicultural dimensions
to the great issues facing the United States of America and Turkey so
that the posterity of both regions may have peace and harmony.

The
Anadolu Club is a non-partisan organization. Each member has achieved
positions of leadership in the United States in a broad range of professions.
With these diverse backgrounds, members collectively pool their strengths
and experience to address important issues concerning the Turkish-American
community, as well as issues affecting U.S.-Turkey relations.
OUR
GOAL
• To
promote and stimulate interest in and appreciation of
the Turkish language, customs, music, dance and art, by arranging and
presenting public concerts, dances and exhibitions and making available
to the public information concerning the history and development of these
forms;
• To
encourage members to teach their children
the Turkish language and customs so that they will be preserved;
• To
engender harmony and synergy among the people of Turkey
and the United States of America;
• To
promote social welfare for the people of Turkey and the
United States of America;
•
To build
active and lasting friendship based on mutual understanding between the
people of the Unites States and the people of Turkey
•
To promote cultural, commercial,
technical, and educational exchanges in between US and Turkey.
• To
serve as a bridge between the cultures
and systems of Turkey and US and also, to provide a forum for those issues
that Americans of Turkish descent face in bettering their lives in the
United States.
OUR
MISSION
•
To support and deepen the U.S./Turkey
relationships based upon a common vision of democracy, the rule of law,
open markets, regional security and unfettered commerce.
• To
sustain and strengthen the organization
as the community's preeminent non-partisan advocate representing Turkish-American
interests to the U.S. public and policy-making community.
•
To promote public and private civil society
initiatives.
•
To provide
community-wide forums and structure within which the members may exchange
views and formulate and implement coordinated programs and policies reflecting
their common interests and shared concerns.
•
To foster through educational programs
and other appropriate means, greater awareness, understanding, and appreciation
among Turkish-Americans, Turkish People residing in the United States
and persons of non-Turkish heritage, of the Turkish cultural and ethnic
heritage.
